I’m 40 years old and have been playing music for 25 yrs. My first gig
was at Maurice's on old Rt. 19 between Clarksburg & Jane Lew. I
graduated from South Harrison High School in 1983. After high school I
attended Fairmont State College where I gradated with B.S. Degree. Upon
graduating I moved out of state and I took a job working as a production
manager for Time Magazine in New York City for two years. I was laid
off and moved back to WV and have been working at Showtime music now for
about 15 yrs.
I have played in several different types of bands from rock to
country, to pop. I think if I had to categorize my style as a guitarist
I would have to say I would be best described as a southern rock
guitarist. I have played from Penn. to Atlanta Georgia. The biggest
crowd I have performed in front of is about 25 to 28,000 people. I have
been in bands that have opened for Kathy Matea, Chris Cagle, Chryee
Austin, Trick Pony, Emerson Drive, Rascal Flates, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Brad
Pasiley, and more.
As a performer I
like to jump around and have a goodtime. Its wonderful to see people in
the audience having a goodtime. Playing music takes your mind off of
the everyday stresses of life, and hope I am able to perform for many
years to come.
